Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Lyrii, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Your Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lyrii. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Lyrii is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

3. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create and publish on Lyrii. By publishing content publicly, you grant Lyrii a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content on the platform.

Private content (journals, encrypted messages, drafts) is never shared or displayed publicly unless you explicitly choose to publish it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, threatening, or harassing
• Impersonate other users or public figures
• Spam, flood, or abuse any feature of the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
• Use automated bots or scrapers without permission
• Post plagiarized content without proper attribution

5. Anonymous Features

Features like Secret Crush Stories, Message in a Bottle, and Whisper Threads are designed for creative expression. Anonymity is not a shield for harassment. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate community guidelines, even on anonymous posts.

6. Time-Sensitive Content

Whisper Threads expire after 24 hours and are permanently deleted. Verse Exchanges expire after 48 hours if not completed. Time Capsule journal entries are published automatically on the date you set. These actions are irreversible by design.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our privacy policy.

8. Disclaimer

Lyrii is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the platform reliable and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Lyrii after changes constitutes acceptance.
